Omicron's MULTIPROBE MBE systems range employs high quality MBE sources from Dr. Eberl MBE-Komponenten GmbH, founded in 1989 as a spin-off from the Technische Universität München, Walter Schottky Institute, Garching, to manufacture sources for Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). As an active scientist Dr. Karl Eberl supervised the MBE group working at the Max-Planck-Institute in Stuttgart, and has over 14 years of active research experience in the field of SiGe, SiGeC and III/V-compound MBE.
The expertise gained from many years of continuous development in the field of UHV and MBE, together with a no-compromise philosophy of design and construction is a guarantee for high performance innovative products based on research-proven concepts. MBE-Komponenten offers their customers the high degree of flexibility needed to design products tailored to their individual needs. To maintain the highest possible level of product quality, all MBE / UHV products are designed and manufactured in-house. Assembly and cleaning in a stringently controlled clean room environment is followed by degasing and testing under UHV conditions. Helium leak testing ensures optimum performance.
All MBE equipment is supplied to the customer with a complete test record. As proof of the confidence we place in our manufacturing and construction standards all MBE components are guaranteed for two years. |
